Anel has proven herself to
be a first class ecologist. During her MSc studies she won prizes for the
best oral paper presentation and the best poster presentation by a young
scientist at the Arid Zone Forum.
Anel has also followed a
course in conflict management at the University of Wolverhampton and a
course in Desert Biodiversity at the University of the Negev.
Her initial training in
animal science and nature conservation management has now been supplemented
by her higher level training in plant restoration ecology so that she is now
a fully rounded ecologist able to deal with both animal and plant systems.
In addition her recent experience in a commercial environment working with
the rehabilitation of Gypsum mines and commercial forests enable her to take
into account the economic consequences of conservation decisions and
activities.
