Borje Drakenberg is
recognised as Sweden's foremost forest biodiversity specialist. He has developed
the Swedish system for rapid forest biodiversity appraisal which is used to
identify high conservation value forests in Sweden. He has worked throughout the
world and was recently involved in the development of the Chilean Standard for
Sustainable Plantation Forestry.
